On the correct placement of toilet rolls

There are three ways to place a toilet roll in the holder; the over, the under, or the student method. Each of these is perfectly valid with the exception of the under method..

Over Under Student style
[Toilet roll in a holder with paper unrolling towards you] [Toilet roll in a holder with paper unrolling away from you] [Toilet roll placed resting on holder, but not in it]

Why would any person knowingly use the under method? It's just masochistic, as it makes it more difficult to take paper off the roll is the paper runs off the roll against the wall.

Most television adverts show toilet rolls in the over configuration, it must be right.
